Ribut Di Hujung Senja

Andak and a friend who have just arrived on Pulau Segara to look for tree roots are attacked by a gang of thugs led by Jalong, resulting in the death of his friend. The village head orders that Andak be locked up before a sentence is passed. One night, Antoi, the village head's daughter, gives Andak some food out of sympathy for his plight. When Jalong finds out, he is resentful because he has feelings for Antoi, but she has ignored him. On the advice of his son, Uda, the village head organises a contest between Andak and Jalong to determine who is in the right.
