Pikineras

Pikineras is a compelling ethnographic documentary filmed along the remote Miskito Coast of Nicaragua and Honduras. The film explores the arduous lives and struggles of the Pikineras—indigenous Miskito women who travel into the perilous Miskito Keys to harvest, purchase, and trade spiny lobsters caught by local divers.
