Episode 2

The World Is Now at War

With the whole world at war, the USA and the UK join forces both in action and on the big screen.

Episode 3

D-Day, the Holocaust & the Atomic Bomb

The horrors of Nazi Holocaust are revealed and filmed by some of the world’s leading film directors. Downfall, Judgment at Nuremberg, The Young Lions and Schindler’s List tell the misery, tragedy, and shame of the death camps of the final solution. The war continues in the Pacific, with final battles such as Okinawa. This story is told in a John Wayne classic, and from both sides with Eastwood’s duet of films (Flags of Our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima).
