The "Concours diplomatique" for prospective diplomats lasts two years. In the second part of the series, the five young diplomats have to prove themselves at congresses, benefit from the know-how of top diplomats, and for some, the internship spans several months.

Meanwhile, all five young diplomats complete their internships abroad. In Buenos Aires, Dakar, Myanmar, New York - and in Cairo, where Samira returns to diplomatic work after maternity leave. And to experience what it means to have to reconcile child and job.

The young diplomats are in the middle of their internships abroad and have to show what they can do. In doing so, they are under constant observation - if you want to be successful, you have to survive in diplomatic everyday life and learn how to reconcile family and private interests.

The day of the decision is approaching: Are the five young diplomats in the final exam before the high-caliber board of examiners? Will you successfully complete the two-year training and receive the Diploma as Diplomat from Federal Councilor Ignazio Cassis?
